Comfort Zone Camp

CZCLogo_webComfort Zone Camp is a nonprofit bereavement camp that transforms the lives of children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver. The free camps include confidence building programs and age-based support groups that break the emotional isolation grief often brings. Comfort Zone Camps are offered to children 7-17, and are held year-round across the Country. They have offices in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Virginia.

Here are two ways you can support this wonderful cause:

  • Make a general donation to Comfort Zone Camp by clicking the photo at the bottom of this page.
  • Make a donation and have a little fun. Vote for your favorite NFDA "outlaw."

The members of NFDA's executive board have teamed up to help raise money for Comfort Zone Camp by playing the role of an outlaw from the Old West. They are wanted for wild crimes and are vying for the coveted title of "Most Wanted" outlaw. The outlaw who raises the most money for Comfort Zone Camp will be declared the Most Wanted at the 2013 NFDA International Convention & Expo during the Wednesday evening Boot Scootin' Bash.

Who do you think should be the Most Wanted? Read about each outlaw's crime below. Choose your Most Wanted, click on his or her photo and make a donation to Comfort Zone Camp. The executive board member who raises the most money will be the Most Wanted! Attend the Boot Scootin' Bash on Wednesday, October 23, to find out the results firsthand and visit with each outlaw as they do their jail time!

Thank you for bringing these outlaws to justice and for helping grieving children through your donation to Comfort Zone Camp!
